"Small Town Spotlight" a BIG Success!

A Huge Thank You!

On behalf of the 2016 Jasper CEO Class, I would like to thank those who were able to come out Saturday night and make our event the huge success that it was. We would also like to give a huge shout out to our sponsors, Newton Dairy Queen, Peoples State Bank, Eagle Country Water Works, EJ Water, Agracel, .................

It is a blessing to live in a community where our youth feel an immense amount of community support. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing you at our annual trade show this spring where these same students with be show casing their individual businesses. Look for details coming soon!

This is one of my favorite pictures of the night........This picture to me represents the core of CEO. See the kids in the yellow lanyards? Those are Jasper CEO students. See the kids in the blue lanyards? Those are Effingham CEO students. You see, before August not many of these students knew each other. We have traveled to Indiana together and had several joint guest speakers. Through these "forced" encounters they have grown to know each other much better. CEO engrains in the students that people and relationships are now and will continue to be your most valuable asset. Even though the knowledge or the relationships they encounter now may seem without immediate use, they understand that their future is uncertain and the knowledge and information gained through CEO is invaluable for a lifetime. Thank you to Effingham CEO for their continued support of the Jasper CEO and many other new CEO programs. You are great friends!

We welcome you to attend the Effingham CEO Experience which takes place this Wednesday, February 3rd at the Keller Convention Center! See their website for more details,

Get Involved in CEO

The manner in which the CEO program is funded is critical to its success and sustainability. All funds raised are used exclusively for the Jasper County CEO program. To participate, a 3-year $1000 per year commitment is required. Business Partner Investors commitments of time and energy are also critical to the program's success. Contributions may be tax deductible, as our organization is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization.

When we are not touring local businesses, we need a place to host the class. During that time, the 0 CEO students and their Facilitator would meet at your site where they would also have guest speakers and guests from the community attend. Hosting requires a facility with internet access and adequately accommodates up to 5 people.

We are looking for people to share real-life stories about the concepts of running a business, from strategic thinking, product development to marketing, and cash flow management. Also, sharing your personal successes and failures are what recent classes have enjoyed the most.

If you are interested in participating in any of the above programs, use our contact form to send us a message
