CEO Business Visits

Newton Masonic Lodge

Greg Sidwell

A great morning with CEO investor Newton Masonic Lodge as we learned more about the fraternity and how they impact our community. We had a great time listening to the long history of the organization and the ties to our founding fathers. This world-wide organization is growing and giving back to each community through philanthropic giving and prospering through the belief of helping mankind. It was a great morning and a perfect reminder for CEO students to stay involved and give back as they become more financially successful.

Norris Electric Cooperative

Tammy Phillips, General Manager

Jasper CEO met with investor Norris Electric Cooperative along with General Manager Tammy Phillips on Tuesday morning. This is always a very eye opening experience for students as they make the connecting tie between the power generation at our previous Dynegy visit and to now see it in the distribution and line maintenance phase at Norris. Yet again, another Jasper County business these students will never drive by again without thinking about all the hard work that goes on inside!

Trade Show Preparation

Here are a few pics of our set up. It was an incredible day and the aura was nervous excitement!

3rd Annual Jasper CEO Trade Show

Jasper CEO Trade Show – In the dark!

To add to the element of excitement, area storms caused the lights to go out around 4:30 p.m. and stayed off until around 6:20 p.m. With that being said, CEO students did not miss a beat….the show went on without a hitch! We want to send a HUGE thank you to Jasper County for coming out to support the students and their businesses. There were a record number 500 in attendance. Incredible!

Please enjoy the following pictures of each of the kids booths. However, please excuse the poor lighting! We all rolled with it! The students booths were absolutely top-notch!

Also, Eagle Country Water Works offered two generous $500 scholarships to lucky Jasper CEO members, Timothy Weber and Paige Webster! Congratulations and a HUGE thank you to ECWW for their continued support of the Jasper CEO program!

2017 CEO's meet with 2018 CEO's

Jasper CEO’s next facilitator, Gina Kocher, invited current CEO students to breakfast in the NCHS FCS kitchen to meet with the 2018 CEO students to discuss anything the new students wanted to know about CEO. It was a great day of discussion about the commitment, drive, and realities of CEO. We look forward to watching the next set of Jasper CEO’s blaze their way starting in August!

When we are not touring local businesses, we need a place to host the class. During that time, the 0 CEO students and their Facilitator would meet at your site where they would also have guest speakers and guests from the community attend. Hosting requires a facility with internet access and adequately accommodates up to 5 people.

We are looking for people to share real-life stories about the concepts of running a business, from strategic thinking, product development to marketing, and cash flow management. Also, sharing your personal successes and failures are what recent classes have enjoyed the most.

If you are interested in participating in any of the above programs, use our contact form to send us a message
