About Me

My name is Megan Zumbahlen and I am the eldest daughter of Curt and Kelly Zumbahlen along with three younger brothers. I am 17 years old and am currently a senior at Newton Community High School. After high school I want to attend The Art Institute of Indianapolis and study Fashion Design. I love to sew and have been doing so since I was around 12 years old. I have created several garments and items including, dresses, skirts, bags, and clutches. I have helped sort, alter, and create costumes for the musicals at NCHS for the past two years and have loved it. Throughout the years family members have encouraged me to create my own business using my sewing skills. I have been interested in doing so, but as a teenager I was unsure on how and when to start. That is why I applied for CEO. I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to guide me in managing and operating my own business. It would provide many opportunities to make connections with other business owners in Jasper County and show me all of what the community has to offer. I knew CEO was my best chance in starting my own business and determining whether or not that was what I wanted out of life. That is why I joined CEO and am so looking forward to the journey ahead.
